Road closures

Road closures:
1. Due to works planned to be undertaken by UK Power Networks, it will be necessary to close part of Green Lane, Lyminge, from 7th October 2024 with estimated completion by 7th October 2024.
Green Lane, Lyminge, will be closed between the junctions of Woodland Road and The Minnis, between the hours of 09:30 and 16:30 only, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Hempsted Lane, B2068 Stone Street, Mockbeggar, High Minnis, The Minnis, Green Lane and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
2. Due to works planned to be undertaken by Openreach, it will be necessary to close part of Skeete Road, Lyminge, from 9th October 2024 with estimated completion by 10th October 2024.
Skeete Road, Lyminge, will be closed from Fancombe to Wildlands, between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 only, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
There is no alternative route. Every effort will be made to maintain access for residents whenever it is safe to do so.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
3. Due to works planned to be undertaken by Openreach, it will be necessary to close part of Teddars Leas Road, Etchinghill, from 9th October 2024 with estimated completion by 10th October 2024.
Teddars Leas Road, Etchinghill, will be closed between the junctions of Canterbury Road and Tan Barn Road, between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 only, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Canterbury Road, Broad Street, Station Road, Canterbury Road, Beresforstal Hill, Oak Hill, Coach Road, A260 Canterbury Road, A260 Spitfire Way, Aerodrome Road, Paddlesworth Lane, Teddars Leas Road and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
4. It will be necessary to close Magpie Lane, Rhodes Minnis from 12th August 2024 for up to 4 days.
The road will be closed at the junctions of White Horse Road and Mount Hill and Mount Bottom.
The alternative route is via White Horse Lane, Chapel Lane, Mount Hill.
This is to enable carriageway patching to be carried out by Kent County Council.
