Planned development of the Nursery Site in Etchinghill

We have received advance notice of a public consultation, by Holloway Studios, regarding a proposed residential development at the old nursery site in Etchinghill (access is currently from Teddars Leas Road)

THE CONSULTATION WILL BE HELD AT ETCHINGHILL VILLAGE HALL ON FRIDAY 19TH MAY FROM 2-6 PM

This proposed development, if it goes ahead, may affect local residents in terms of vehicular access and traffic flow, sewage removal, footpaths and increased surgery and school attendance (to name but a few). In short, most or everything that has been discussed or contested with Pentland Homes concerning the Golf course development in Lyminge.

Representatives from Holloway Studios will be bringing along A1 foam boards and easels to show their proposal to members of the public. A Holloway Studios' representative states "we have a really nice proposal for the site and have covered local concerns but feel that a public consultation gives the local residents the opportunity to ask us questions and incorporate any issues raised into our final proposal".

Holloway Studios will be letter-dropping the local area on Tuesday 9 May to advertise the event.
