IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT VOTER PHOTO-ID

All electors need to be aware that new rules have been introduced requiring voter photo-ID at the polling station. More information on this is available here.

Valid forms of photo-ID include a passport, photo driving licence and older person’s bus pass.  You can check the full list of acceptable photo-ID at the link above.  If you have no ID on this list, you can apply free-of-charge for a Voter Authority Certificate, which will allow you to vote on polling day.  You must bring acceptable photo-ID, which includes a Voter Authority Certificate, to the polling station on 4 May in order to cast your vote.  So check today if you need to apply for a Voter Authority Certificate, and if you do, apply without delay to ensure you have a vote on Polling Day.
