Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Second

Lyminge Parish Council are deeply saddened by the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Second and join the nation in a period of National Mourning.

A Book of Condolence will be placed in the St. Mary & St. Ethelburga Church in Lyminge and unwrapped flowers (no cellophane) can be placed by the bench near the flying buttress.  Please note that these will be composted following the State Funeral. 

The Church will remain open until 8pm every day until the State Funeral has taken place and the evensong service held on Sunday 11th September 2022 will be dedicated to Her Majesty.
