Lyminge Parish encompasses the villages of Lyminge, Etchinghill and part of Rhodes Minnis and lies within the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). The villages offer a host of amenities to residents and tourists as well as having a rich history, a diverse and ancient natural environment and many beautiful walking routes, including the Elham Valley Way and Royal Saxon Way that pass through the parish.

The council is committed to protecting and improving the area of Lyminge Parish, defining our activities and focusing our efforts through four key aspects that together make our community what it is today: the built, natural, social and historic environments.
